About Bluewater Pressure Wash & Landscape

Two friends from Sarnia, one pressure washer and a lot of doors knocked. This is how Bluewater got started, and how we work today.

Our Story

Started Door to Door in 2022

We grew up together in Sarnia. Mitch Guerette and Riley Barker met at the same Taekwondo school and stayed friends all through high school.

In 2022 we bought our first pressure washer and spent the summer going door to door around our neighbourhood, asking people if they had any work for us. Some said yes. Those jobs led to referrals, the referrals led to more jobs, and that is how Bluewater started.

The first few seasons felt a lot like a summer job. We kept learning, took on more and branched into landscaping and hardscaping, building those skills season by season. Today we run two trucks, several pressure washers and separate crews for landscaping and pressure washing, and we offer the full list of services on this site.

The Name

Why "Bluewater"

Around here, Bluewater is everywhere. The bridge, the region and plenty of things around Sarnia carry the name, and for us it means home.

It also stands for quality. In this line of work it's easy to get burned by someone who does a sloppy job, so we wanted a name people could trust. We work hard to live up to it.

Meet the Owners

Mitch handles the business side of Bluewater, including the marketing. Mitch prepares every quote personally and comes out for most site visits himself.

He also studies marketing at Fanshawe College.

Co-owner & Lead Foreman

Riley has been doing this work on his own since 2020, from landscaping and pressure washing to the rest of the services we offer. He runs our job sites and helps Mitch run the company.

You'll see both of them on site, and Riley is usually the one keeping the work on track.

The Crew

A Sarnia Team

Casey and Mason, Mitch's brothers, are our core crew. Everyone on the team is from Sarnia, so the homes we work on belong to our neighbours, and we treat them that way.

How We Work

There's a gap in this business. On one side is the cheapest guy with a truck, who cuts corners to win the job. On the other are the big companies charging premium prices even on small work. We sit in between, offering premium quality and service at a price that's fair and within reach.

The owners work on our job sites, so the people who promised the result are there to deliver it.
