We soft wash them instead. Soft washing uses low pressure, so it removes moss, algae, lichen and staining without tearing at the surface. You end up with a cleaner-looking roof and far less growth sitting on it.
Gutters are the other half of the job. When they fill with leaves and grit, rain spills over the edge, runs down the siding or pools beside the foundation. We clear gutters and downspouts so water drains properly and away from your home. If the siding needs attention too, we wash that as well.

Why soft wash a roof instead of pressure washing it?
High pressure can knock the granules off shingles and shorten their life. Soft washing uses low pressure, so it removes moss, algae, lichen and staining without being hard on the roof.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
At least once a year, and many homes need it in both spring and fall, especially with trees nearby. If you see water spilling over the edge when it rains, they are overdue.
What causes the black streaks on my roof?
Usually algae growing on the shingles, often on the shadier sides of the roof. It spreads over time, which is why the streaks get darker every year. A soft wash removes it.
Do you take away what comes out of the gutters?
Yes. Leaves, grit and other debris from the gutters and downspouts are collected and taken with us, so there's nothing left on the lawn or in the beds.
Can I book roof, gutter and siding cleaning together?
